  1. Rule & Credit Card: There are many settings & tools that can enabled/disabled at any time
    • Tools->Back Office->Advanced->System->Rule & Credit Card
  • Transfer Default: Relates to item transfer on orders
    • Old: Items can only be transferred between existing orders
    • New: Items can be transferred to a new order(similar to splitting)
  • Update Validation: Yes: After order is sent to kitchen trying to edit the order will prompt for manager code
  • Kwick Special Req: Yes: Clicking on the item name in the cart will open modifier or special request windows
    • No: Double click items in the cart to open the modifiers or special request windows
  • Kwick Guests: When selecting guests/check number for dine-in orders
    • Yes: There are preset numbers from 1-18 available and an "Other" option to enter the number manually
    • No: Similar to clicking other on the "yes" setting, the number is entered manually
  • Ticket Lock: Yes: Only one user can view each ticket to edit and pay
  • New No Print: Does not work with items that have options(variations)
    • Yes: All back printers are assigned to print new items added into the menu by default
    • No: Printers will not be assigned to print new items added into the menu
  • Always Kick: SMS: If customers click for help on iPad set for tables, a notification is sent to phone number for server responsible for the order
    • Print: For QR table orders;msg printer will print an alert for customer requests
  • Single Login: Yes: Users can only be logged into one terminal at a time; logging into a terminal will log the user out of other terminals
  • Screen Help: Yes: Shows a question mark button at the top right of POS interface for a short tutorial
    • No: Hides the help and reload buttons
    • Reload: Replaces the question mark button with a reload button
  • Msg Alert: SMS: If customers click for help on iPad set for tables, a notification is sent to phone number for server responsible for the order
    • Print: For QR table orders; msg printer will print an alert for customer requests
  • Void Validation: Yes: Voiding orders will prompt for a manager's code
  • Keep Logout: Dine-in mode only
    • All: Logs out the user after any operation
    • Yes: Logs out the user after entering an order
  • Ticket Barcode: Yes: Prints a barcode on receipts
  • Tip First: Yes: Enables the tip button that allows tips to be added before submitting the order. Cannot be disabled when kwickdriver is enabled
  • Pickup Phone: Pickup mode only
    • Yes: Clicking Clear or Enter refreshing the terminal will automatically prompt for phone number
  • Undo Tools: Yes: Enables the Undo and Redo buttons next to the cart area; mostly applies to adding/removing items
  • Clear Tool: Clear function will remove all items in the cart and current order information and return to the assigned page defined by terminal's mode
    • Ask: Prompts the user for confirmation before clearing the page
    • Yes: Enables clear function without confirmation prompt
    • No: Clear function is disabled
  • Items Page: Yes: Enables arrows to scroll through all items in a category if there are too many items to display due to the layout
  • Detail Void: Yes: Voiding a ticket prints out a more detailed receipt that lists the items voided
  • Mark Togo: Yes: Pickup order receipts will print a black bar with "Togo" in white text at the bottom
  • Gift Card Digits: The last n digits of a gift card number used for gift card related functions such as adding/selling/refunding
  • Cash Discount: % rate of discount for orders paid by cash
    • Must turn in the order and then view the order to see a cash price in green and details
  • Cash Draw Amount: Amount of cash in the cash drawer
    • The amount will show on user report
  • Sale with Fee: Yes: Delivery fee is included in sales
  • Ticket Security: Hide: Only boss and manager users can see orders
    • Owner: Boss and manager users can see all orders; cashiers, waiters, others can only view their own orders
    • Cashier: Cashier and higher level users can see all orders, waiters and others can only view their own orders
    • All: All orders are viewable by everyone
  • Cent adjust: 25: All order totals are rounded up to the nearest quarter amount
    • 10: All order totals are rounded up to the nearest dime amount
    • 5: All order totals are rounded up to the nearest nickel amount
    • No: Order totals are not rounded up
  • Kwick Price: Entering price amount(s) enables the KwickPrice button
    • Amounts defined are separated by colon such as m:n:
    • After highlighting an item, clicking this button changes the price to m, clicking it again changes the price to n, and so on
  • Kwick Discount: Entering discount rate(s) enables the KwickPrice button
    • Rates defined are separated by colon such as m:n
    • After highlighting an item, clicking this button discount the item price by m %, clicking it again discounts the item price by n % and so on
  • TipOut Rate: Sets the tip out % rate for all employees who made an order that day
    • Rate is applied to total sales
  • Gift bonus Delay: Yes: When adding a bonus on gift cards, the bonus is not available until the next day(24 hours later)
  • Credit Surcharge: Enter additional % rate to be charged for orders paid by credit card
    • % surcharge and surcharge amount (in red) will be shown when viewing order
    • Total (in red) includes the % surcharge when using Paid First
  • Lunch End Time: Enter time in military format for all lunch items to be unavailable online
  • Auto Delivery Fee: Delivery fee by mileage and rate is set here
    • Example: 0-1*1;1-2*2;3*3 means $1 is charged for orders 0-1 miles away, $2 for orders 1-2 miles away, $3 for orders 3 or more miles away
  • Live Edit: Yes: Enables the Live Edit tool in Tools, which allows individual category/item buttons to be changed
  • Print Change: Yes: When editing an order by adding/remove special requests and then pressing update, the back printer will print"Change" instead of "Add"
  • Simple Pack Reprint: Yes: Bag/Packer printer will reprint the entire receipt after editing an order such as adding/removing items
    • No: Bag/Packer printer will print the added/removed items with the updated order below a dividing line
  • Save Tool: Hold: Enables the Hold tool, which holds the current order when Hold is clicked and then restores the held order after clicking Hold again
    • Yes: Enables the Save tool, which saves orders to be restored later and entered, edited, scheduled, etc
    • No: Hold/Save tool is disabled
  • Split Pay: In progress
  • Auto Phone: Only works with caller ID device installed
    • Yes: After a customer calls, automatically enters th ephone number or shows the customer's notes
  • Print Paid Ticket: Manual: Shows a small window with print button to print manually
    • Yes: Always prints guests receipts with payment method after orders are paid
  • Note Tool: Togo: Add "Togo" as a special request to an item
    • Ticket: Add a note to the ticket
    • Item: Add a note to an item like a custom special request
    • No: Note tool is disabled
  • Paid First: All: All orders will require payment before entering the order
    • Yes: Save tool cannot be No; enables Pay button to confirm payment before entering the order
  • Autoclose $0.00: Yes: If an order with a total of $0 is entered, it is automatically closed
  • Discount Validation: Yes: Applying discounts will prompt for manager's code
  • Tools Enable: No: Tools button is hidden on the Home page only, so the user must login and click on their logged in name to bring up the Tools window
  • Address QR Code: Yes: Prints QR code for addresses on delivery order receipts
  • Fee Bottom: Yes: Delivery fee shows on receipt as a charge above total
    • No: Delivery fee shows on receipt as an item on the receipt
  • Walkin Phone: For walkin mode only
    • Yes: Clicking Clear or Enter refreshing the terminal will automatically prompt for phone number
  • Empty Tool: Used together with undo/redo tools and only empties the orders while keeping the customer info
    • Yes: Enables the Empty Tool
  • Flexible Price: Yes: Enables the Price tool which can apply discounts(% or flat amount), and price changes on individual or all items
  • Order Types: 4 order types are available, by default they are Dinein, Pickup, Walkin, Delivery
    • The field below the English field is for an alternative language
    • Ticking the checkbox enables the corresponding order type
  • Manager: Permissions for manager accounts are enabled or disabled here
    • The options are voiding tickets, removing items from orders, applying discounts, reprinting receipt for the kitchen printers, viewing daily sales reports, payout(daily cash misc expenses to employees), system(back office access), history(viewing report sales from previous days)
  • Cashier: Permissions for cashier accounts are enabled or disabled here
    • The options are voiding tickets, removing items from orders, applying discounts, reprinting receipt for the kitchen printers, viewing daily sales reports, payout(daily cash misc expenses to employees), system(back office access), history(viewing report sales from previous days)
  • Offline Credit: Yes: Enable offline mode for credit card payments, which will store credit card information for later processing when the system is online
  • Share Table: Yes: Allows different servers to make orders at a single table
  • Payment Options: Payment options are shown on the right side of the page with a button preview
    • Select any under the Order column, then use the arrows below to rearrange them
    • Click Add, enter the name of the payment option, select whether tips can be applied to orders for this payment method, and the Save to add a new payment option
    • Under the Enable column, tik the payment options to make them available
  • Credit Card: Enable: Select yes to enable credit card payments
    • CC Receipt Copy: Enter the number of copies of credit card receipts to be printed
    • CC Detail: Select yes for order details to be printed on credit card receipts
    • CC Term Print: Select yes if the credit card machine prints out the receipts, select NoTip to have tip and total added together for total amount
    • CC Merchant: Select yes to print the merchant ID on the receipt
    • CC Barcode: Select yes to print a barcode on the receipt
    • Pickup CC Printer: Only works with back printers, credit card receipts for pickup orders will print from selected printer
    • Delivery CC Printer: Only works with back printers, credit card receipts for delivery orders will print from selected printer
    • For gateway payments, the gateway link, gateway login, and gateway key are entered here
  • Room Name: Yes: Prints name of the room on receipts
    • No: Prints only table name on receipts
  • Hide Expired Menu: For categories with all items not available on a certain day(s)
    • All: Those categories will be unavailable on disabled days for all users
    • Yes: Those categories will be unavailable on disabled days for users excluding boss
  • Weight Tares: For specifying tray sizes and number of ounces; up to 4 sizes can be added with number of ounces that will be removed from total weight of the item(format is: [size abbreviation]-[number of ounces][, comma separator])
  • Breakfast End Time: Time when breakfast period ends and lunch begins (for user reports)
  • Flexible Quantity: All: Shows keypad for quantity selection
    • Pop: Shows 'Qty' button to prompt for quantity selection
    • No: Hides quantity selection from Home page
  • QR Code Login: To be updated
  • Gtip Surcharge: Yes: Gratuity will be charged credit card fee
  • ToGo Kitchen Split: Yes: Dinein togo item(*togo/*bag) is printed to kitchen printer in a separate ticket with ticket header "walkin"
  • Autoclose m3rd Party: Yes: When 3rd party order enters, it will be automatically closed with 3rd party payment type
