POS

Orders:

  • In the new version, a new function is added to randomize order numbers. To enable this, go to New Backoffice -> Orders -> MISC -> Order ID Random Range by entering a number between 1 and 99. For example, if set to 50 and the latest order is #12, the next order number will be randomly generated between 13 and 62.


  • In the old version, when updating tax rate, surcharge rate, or updating item to be non-taxable, etc., the order preview would be recalculated based on the current settings. In the new version, we added a switch under Advanced -> Rule & Credit Card -> Original Preview (Unstable) to use the original data from the database instead of recalculating.

  • In the previous version, when a ticket included both a service charge and a surcharge, the printed customer receipt showed the wrong card price, even though the preview displayed the correct card price. This bug has been fixed. [Ticket #199268]


  • In the previous version, when the Item discount amount exceeded the discount limit of the User/Role, the submit button would be disabled. In the new version, when the discount amount exceeds the limit, the button will no longer be disabled. Instead, clicking the submit button will require Manager/Owner validation. [Ticket #200851]

Print:
  • In the previous version, whenever the merchant updated the order ready time, the printed customer receipt’s ready time and preview were not updated. This bug has now been fixed.


  • In the previous version, when a ticket included both a service charge and a surcharge, the printed customer receipt showed the wrong card price, even though the preview displayed the correct card price. This bug has been fixed. [Ticket #199268]


  • When reprinting a credit receipt, if the printer is in new mode, it will have a 'font' word in the bottom of this receipt. In this new version, this has been fixed.


  • In the new version, we have a setting at Setup -> Orders -> MISC -> Stay on the payment after printing, after enabling this setting, when clicking the printing at payment page, it will not go back to home, it will stay at the payment page.


Report:
  • In this new version, if an item has an AG group, the exported item sales report will list the AG group item sales at the end.[Ticket #198966]


  • In this new version, we add a new function to highlight tipped transactions on the Credit page even when the tip amount is 0.00. To enable, go to Setup > Payment > Credit Setting > Highlight tipped transaction at Credit page.[Ticket #111048]
  • In this new version, we add a new function to display tax rate on customer receipt print. To enable, go to Setup > Tax & Fees > Tax Percentage Print.[Ticket #180478]


  • New Clock-in Report:

  • Layout and style changes

  • Sorted report by user name, last name or first name

  • Click user name in summary report to scroll down to detail report of the target user

  • Logs of adding or editing clock-in record

  • Apply new overtime rules, including weekly overtime and daily overtime calculations

  • Fixed calculation bugs of paid & unpaid break hours, etc.

  • Added buttons to print receipt to thermal printer and A4 printer

  • New settings added:

    • Display of primary role

    • Display of subtotal

    • Underline overtime hour

    • 2 time formats: Decimal Format, H:h Format

Other:

  • In the old version, when swiping a card on the kiosk, the old version would charge the remaining balance if the card had insufficient funds, causing misunderstanding. In the new version it will decline transactions.


  • In the previous version, when adding an item with a $2.05 happy hour discount to the cart, if the user switched the order type or selected a table before entering, then after the $2.05 discount would be rounded down to $2.00 .This issue has been resolved in the new version [Ticket #198562]


  • In the previous version, we disabled the functionality for partial discounts on the same Schedule (happy hour) because it caused some potential issues. In the current version, we have added it back and optimized it. When System > General > Update HH discount is set to "All", clicking update will apply the discount to all selected items based on the discount amount. When the Update HH discount is set to "Partial", in the select Item interface, you can apply individual discounts to each item, and clicking update will update the individual discounts. [Ticket #194206]

  • In the previous version, when editing an order and switching the order type, then adding new happy hour items and updating, the happy hour discount would appear in the cart but disappear after updating. This issue has been resolved in the new version.


  • In the previous version, when the breakfast and lunch tv menu is set, all have breakfast time, lunch time and all day schedule set in the system, tv menu screen will not change automatically from breakfast schedule to lunch schedule nor lunch menu to all day schedule. In this new version, this has been fixed.


  • In the previous version, when the system time is on civilian time, we are unable to save the start day and termination date in employee > user > edit. In this new version, this has been fixed.[Ticket #201622]

  • In the previous version, the setting Item Per Order Limit (15/20/30) in Apps > QR Table Order did not work. In this new version, this has been fixed.[Ticket #202580]


  • In this new version, we add a new function called Reservation Notice to send real-time reservation notices to Manager and Owner roles. Each time a reservation is created, an email or SMS alert will be sent to the Manager and Owner.


  • In this new version, merchants can customize the reservation message which will follow the default reservation message. To enable this, we can go to Waiting > Reservation > Setting > Reservation Additional Custom SMS message.

Online

KwickMenu.com:

  • In this new version, if the store is currently closed but will open later today, we’ve added an option to place an order in advance.

Other:  

  • In the new online version, we replaced the clock-style time picker with a dropdown list for online reservation time.[Ticket #189684]


  • In the new online version, we add a new function to make modifier groups as dropdown menus. And all the selected modifiers will be displayed at the bottom of the modifier page. To enable, go to Backoffice > Apps > Online Order > Expand Modifier.
