- Delivery: It will display areas to fill in customer information except it also has an area to fill in their address which will show google maps. The map will show the distance between the store and the customer and if they have a charge applied like a delivery fee.
- Whether you want to assign a driver for delivery orders:
- Tools->Back Office->Advanced->System->General->Driver Selection->All: Any user can be assigned as driver, Yes: Only clocked in drivers can be assigned as driver, Cashier: Cashier who created the order can assign a driver, No: Self is assigned as driver
- Whether fees are paid to driver:
- Tools->Back Office->Advanced->System->General->Fee Paid
- Yes: Delivery fees are paid to drivers, No: Delivery fees are not paid to drivers
- Whether orders autofill information:
- Tools->Back Office->Advanced->System->General->Deliver Autofill
- Yes: Orders are automatically set to the delivery minimum if the order total is too low, No: Orders are not automatically set to the delivery minimum
- Whether driver selection is enabled/disabled:
- Tools->Back Office->Advanced->System->General->Driver Selection
- All: Any user can be assigned as the driver for delivery orders, Yes: Only clocked in drivers can be assigned as the driver for delivery orders, Cashier: Cashier who created the order will be assigned as the driver for delivery orders, No: “Self” is assigned as the driver for delivery orders
- Whether surcharge is added:
- Tools->Back Office->Advanced->System->General->Fee Rate
- Specify a % surcharge for delivery orders based on order total
- Setting delivery policies for orders outside of delivery range:
- Tools->Back Office->Advanced->System->General->Over Distant
- Deny: Not allowed to enter deliveries outside of the delivery range, Pop: Asks user whether to enter the order when delivery is outside of the delivery range, Yes: Allows delivery orders outside of the delivery range to be entered
- Whether to include delivery fee in sales:
- Tools->Back Office->Advanced->System->Rule & Credit Card->Sale with Fee
- Yes: Delivery fee is included in sales, No: Delivery fee is not included in sales
- Setting Delivery fee:
- New Back Office: Tools->Back Office->Setup->Order Types->Delivery->Delivery fee calculation
- Flat Fee: It will show as a flat fee on all deliveries
- Percentage of total: It will show as a percentage of the sale’s total amount
- Distance base: Depending on the distance, it will charge a certain amount. There are spaces to put 4 different distances
- Advanced Back Office: Tools->Back Office->Advanced->System->Rule & Credit Card->Auto Delivery Fee
- The charges have to be entered in a specific way. Example: 0-1*1;1-2*2;3*3 means $1 is charged for orders between 0-1 miles away, $2 for 1-2 miles away, $3 for orders 3 or more miles away.
- Adding a semicolon at the end allows the delivery charge to be changed. Example 0-1*1;1-2*2;3*3;
- Printing Address QR Code:
- Tools->Back Office->Advanced->System->Rule & Credit Card->Address QR Code
- Yes: Prints QR code for addresses on delivery order receipts, No: Does not print QR code for addresses on delivery order receipts
- New Back Office Delivery Settings:
- Enable this order type
- Enable KwickPOS delivery service(No drivers required)
