Bugs & Feature on POS:

Orders:

1. The delivery status of orders can now be updated. If the system setting Setup > Orders > MISC > Mark Delivered Order is enabled, all users can change the delivery status on the Orders > Detail page by clicking the Server. Delivery orders can be filtered by two statuses: Delivered and En Route.[Ticket #142105]

2. In the previous version, if an order type was changed from DoorDash to Dinein, it would still appear as a DoorDash order after being entered. Now, it correctly displays as a Dine-in order. Additionally, when the ToGo No Tax setting was enabled, if a Walkin/Pickup order was changed to Dinein, the tax remained excluded. With the update, tax will now be applied when switching the order type from Pickup/Walkin to Dinein.[Ticket #142751]
3. In the current version, when using the price tool to adjust prices with (+ Addition % and + Price Add $), entering the price via keyboard or touchscreen will now correctly display the updated price in the top-right corner. (In the previous version, it showed $0 when using the keyboard.) Additionally, the All Items function now selects all items in the cart for price adjustments, ensuring that no item, including those with a $0 price, is missed.[Ticket # 145399]
4. In Setup > Report Format, the current version includes a setting, No access to old advanced reports, which prevents users from viewing reports in the advanced back office. When this setting is enabled, clicking on a report in the advanced back office will automatically redirect users to the corresponding report in the new back office.[Ticket #145421]
5. Added the ability to search customers by Name in customer information screen (pick up, walk in, and delivery). [Ticket #141667]
Print:
  1. Added a new switch "Advanced > General >print year" to control whether to print year of the date on customer receipt and credit card receipt [Ticket # 142437]
2. In the previous version, when the print modifier setting was set to "new line," fractions were incorrectly printed with an added ‘*’ (e.g., 1/2 → 1/ *2). This issue has now been fixed.[143982]
Payment: 

1. In the current version, after configuring Magensa TEConnect, the key-in function can be enabled to allow remote payment acceptance within an iframe. The following details must be filled in the pos system:[Ticket # 146334]

  • Gateway URL + MID
  • Magensa Setup
  • Terminal Configuration:Set the Credit Processor IP to MagTek-tip,Set the Credit Processor Type to MagTek
2. In the previous version, when you use a customer facing display, and the customer adds a tip, depending on the price, there will be a $0.01 charge difference from the correct amount. In this version, the charge amount will match with the correct amount. [Ticket # 143345]
Report: 

1. Modified the New Backoffice > Report > Item Sales Report. Now the item sales report will include a list of modifiers sold for each individual item. [Ticket # 141696]

2. Added a new switch in New Backoffice > Setup > Report Format -> Show 3pp Discount & Tax. When this option is enabled, third party discounts and tax total can be shown in the user report and sales report. [Ticket # 139519]
Other:
  1. We fixed the problem when an online order is paid with a gift card, the ticket in the POS online tab shows an amount with a surcharge when it shouldn’t.

2. On A920, tip base on the tip option screen is always $99.99. It occurs when "Backoffice > setup > mobile > Enable customer tip selection after cc payment" is unselected. Now fixed.[143875]

Bug & Feature on Online:

Payment:


  1. In BackOffice > Apps > Online Order, We’ve enabled online order payment with gift cards and verification options. Currently online gift card payment doesn’t support partial payment. This feature only works with new version POS

  • SMS verification: this is under development
  • Phone verification: when a customer tries to place an online order with a gift card number, the phone number must match the phone number associated with the gift card
  • No verification: as long as you have the gift card number and there are sufficient balance in it, you can make the payment
KwickMenu.com:

1. In BackOffice > Apps > Online Order, We have enabled online delivery start time and end time, but this feature only works with POS version later than 06/13/24

2. In BackOffice > Apps > Online Order > online website setting > about us, we’ve fixed the font and single quote( ‘ ) problem. In the previous version, all different fonts had the same effect, and single quote( ‘ ) will display as forward slash and single quote( /’ )
Other: 

1. Portal > online order, we‘ve optimized the display of online order tickets that were paid with gift cards.

  • We’ve changed the text in the green area from “Paid Card” to “Paid Gift” with the gift card number. 
2. We’ve also decided to display surcharge as 0.00 instead of 0

3. Online orders can now be voided in POS. This function is now supported for a total of 4 processors, including 3 newly added ones—TRX, Authorize.Net, and Magensa, along with CardConnect, which was already supported in previous versions.
