Bugs & Feature on POS:

Orders:
  1. Split issue: If an order is too long, when you split and click save, the subticket could not be saved successfully. [143974]

  2. Age Restriction feature (setup > business information > Support Age Restricted Sale) was not working before. The issue is after swiping the ID card ( Driver License), it shows NAN on the screen. And after clicking cancel to exit, it shows the processing page (it kept processing and could not go through), so the page cannot be closed. For different card readers, it acts differently, so we add a new switch "Setup > Order >misc >Fix Swipe for Driving License". If the card reader cannot read the ID card properly, then enable this setting. [Ticket #147396]

  3. Added a feature Setup > Order > Misc > Show future order on that day: If orders have a ready time for a future date, then when that day comes, that order will show at that future date in the orders page. [Ticket #142106]

Print:
  1. In the old version, if Customer Information is not enabled in the kitchen printer settings, notes will not be printed. The new version fixes this issue, ensuring that notes are printed. Customer information doesn't need to be enabled in the newest version.[Ticket #145883]

Payment:
  1. Fixed an issue where the ticket will not be automatically closed after paying it (although it has a $0.00 balance) when a tax exempt number is attached to the ticket. [Ticket #146703]

Report: In the current version, the sales report displays the Breakdown by Terminal using the terminal's real name and IP address instead of the terminal ID and IP address.[Ticket #148611]
Other:1. Reports can now be automatically sent to users by enabling the auto email reports feature in Employee > Users. There, users can select the type of report they wish to send. They will receive the report daily at Extend Hours+3 time. Previously, businesses with a ' symbol in their full name were unable to receive emails due to a bug, which has now been fixed.[Ticket #147037]
2. In current version, to keep a user logged out in Walk-in/Pickup Terminal mode, follow these steps:
  • Enable the setting in Setup > Orders > MISC by selecting "Keep Logout Effect on Walkin and Pickup mode."
  • In Advanced Backoffice > Rule & Credit Card, set "Keep Logout" to All/Yes.
Once these settings are applied, after submitting an order by clicking the Pay button and then selecting Home to return, the system will automatically log the user out.[Ticket #145676]
3. In previous versions, Clock-in report did not display records for users who were disabled in the system. Now, by enabling the setting in Apps > Clock-in > Clock in report display inactive employee, inactive users will appear in the Clock-in report with an "Inactive" label next to their name.[Ticket #143261]
4. In previous versions, to enable split permission for a user, you had to enable transfer permission as well (otherwise the user cannot split order). Now, split permission could be enabled by checking "split" only without enabling “transfer” permission. [143597]
5. Item picture size on the 2nd display is now able to be resized according to the screen resolution now. CDS will always display the full picture. [145886]
6. In previous versions, regardless of whether System > General > "Civilian Time" was set to Yes or No, the ticket’s time in KDS was always displayed in 24-hour format. This has now been fixed - when "Civilian Time" is set to Yes, KDS will display time with am or pm. If it is set to No, then it will keep the 24-hour format. [147819]
7. In New Back Office > Reporting > Payments. Since we no longer maintain the Payments Report, the House Cash data may differ from the Sales Report, which has caused confusion for merchants. Based on DT's requirement, we have hidden the “House Cash” column in the Payments Report in this release version. [Ticket #144761]
8. Advanced Backoffice -> System -> Cash Pay-in. In the current version, with this switch enabled, the boss and manager can adjust house cash in the User report page. The cash pay-in and pay-out amount can be checked in the user/daily/sales/employee report, and details can be checked in the sales report.

9.  To enable KDS item selection, we can navigate to Setup > Orders > Cart and enable "Can do item selection on KDS."[Ticket #147200] Additionally, subitems can be configured to display on the KDS. This setting is only available in POS under Setup > Terminal > Kitchen, where item selection must be performed. To display all subitems under a single item, select the item name.[Ticket #145776]

10. In Setup > Orders > Cart > Show order by edit time on KDS (descending) Added a KDS feature to sort tickets by update time in descending order, ensuring the most recently updated tickets appear first. [Ticket #147017]
11. In the old version, if there was a modifier with multiple selection enabled, then the setting in Advanced > System > General > Combine Opt. would not be allowed to be changed from Yes. Now when multiple select is enabled for a modifier, the No option will be greyed out, and you will be able to select between the two options: “Mod.” and “Yes”. In addition, there is now a description for the setting when you click on it.

Bug & Feature on Online:

Payment:In the previous version, when a customer placed an online delivery order with a delivery fee. "Place Order" and "Checkout" amount value did not match "Total" value, even though the customer was charged the correct amount. [Will be released on March 3]

2. In the previous version, when a customer entered the promo code but didn’t apply, it would cause an issue that the customer had to enter the card information again. In this version, customers can place an order by entering the card information once, but the discount will not be added. [Will be released on March 3]

KwickMenu.com:Previously, when a customer used an iPhone to scan the QRtable QR code and place an order, the order displayed as an online order instead of dine in order. [Ticket #145925, #145228]
