Bugs Fixed Notes:

I. POS System:

1. Order:

A. iPad safari + full screen -> edit order -> item was not highlighted -> update -> generated new order instead of updating the existing order. Fixed! Now the iPad order can be edited on the existing order.

B. Quantity pop -> 8 items. Just count one tax (with tax b4 discount on). Fixed! When we use the “All” mode of Flexible Quantity, the tax will be Auto counted with the quantity numbers.

C. Duplicate order from history. If "item with sub item and modifier," then the price of the subitem won't be added to the item price. Fixed! Now the price will be added Automatically. 

D. Seat Modes: Need to activate the seat&line function.

    a. Seat mode 0: Disable seat button.

    b. Seat mode 1: Show set button with numbers.

    c. Seat mode 2: Show seat button only use seat + to add seat.

    d. Seat mode 3: Seats button will add and edit fast, and seats/bags switched in Togo orders.

when taking Togo order, the bag banner was showing as undefined.

E. Right-click on an item to edit the item -> after edit -> not able to save (save button not clickable)

F. Modifier as items problem issue: please always set this function default as “No” to fix the printer receipt problem. Only need a “Yes” setting if you want the modifiers to separate select printer-like items.


2. Print: 

A. Beta print the Vietnamese character as a garbled code on the receipt. Now we support the Vietnamese on receipt.

B. The Dot Matrix printer receipt said the seat line was too long, which occupied two lines in the space. Now we fixed the seat line and only printed a single line.

C. E receipt not working- text sent a link, but link showing information expired (upgrade not needed)


3. Payment:

A. Open tab - ask to swipe the card again when checking out when the terminal has a 2nd display. Fixed, don’t need to swipe the card again.

B. After the Batch, POS doesn't automatically print the batch summary report.

C. TRX - Verifone: Tips not batched when doing auto batch. Now they are matched.


4. Term: 

A. A920: 

    a. The Tab modifier doesn't work on A920. 

    b. Before using the special request, you need to add one item without a special request.

    c. Split order ->hit cancel. items are gone. 


5. Fixed Features: 

A. Zero Configuration: This function is a good link to devices by Mac, even if they are DHCP. But once all the devices are set up static, it may cause duplicated Mac if using Wi-Fi. Therefore, you should change the zero Config to "Off".

B. Term printer/A920pro Printer: If your A920 always prints out garbled code. Please check your term printers setting in Tools---BackOffice---Advanced---System---Printer. All the receipt printer name has to start with "Term" including A920. Otherwise, the system may treat it as an order printer. You need to have stand names for all the terminals and printers. Make sure there is no space for the printer’s name. Rules: All terminals and printers always follow the last IP.

C. The “&” letter can exist in the POS menu without garbled code.

D. Modifier: Item without modifier but the sub item with modifier, the item cannot be clicked in the cart. Fixed now!

E. Delivery transfer: You can easily transfer the orders from one to another without bugs.

II. Online:

Online order w/t tip + POS enabled tip surcharge + Edge mode -> yes. The payment amount on the pos online order didn't add a surcharge of tips, so online Kp< online total (Report doesn’t match). Fixed, the reports can be matched.

III. Retail:

1. Leading 0 was removed from the item UPC code, so cannot find the item. Fixed! Now the UPC code could be correct with the first 0.

2. When scanning and finding the item, the item is not automatically added to the cart. You need to add it to the cart. Fixed! Now when scanning and finding the item, the item can be automatically added to the cart.

3. EBT items.


Features Release Notes:


1. Order:

A. For dine-in table orders, number n of guests to automatically charge % gratuity (tip rate)

    a. If a table has n or more guests, specified % gratuity will be charged.

    b. Tip rate here defines the preset tip % when using Tip tool (gratuity).

    c. 0%: order -> add tip -> preset tip is set by amount.

2. Saved orders can be printed at scheduled times.

3. To go kitchen split.


2. Payment:

Need option if paid by credit card can allow an option to print the receipt. Rule & credit card -> print paid ticket -> manual. When you finish payment, there are two buttons to help you choose.


3. Term:

A. A920:

a.  Search function feature in A920

b. Click the table name (“main table”) to switch the table map types.


4. Released Features:

A. Packages printer receipts need two prices for cash discount. Use the new printer

mode, package printers. Now the price will be correct in the receipts.

B. KwickPOS system & A920:

    a. Set up for the Mobile Devices. We can use the mobile to log in to the A920. When the vertical display is the A920 version, the horizontal is the POS version. 

    b. Employees can clock in &out from mobile devices. When you clock in: (steps 1 to step 5).

        (1). Please make sure the “Employee can clock in &out from mobile devices” is checked in POS system—> Back Office —>Set up—> Mobile Devices.

        (2). Click the “login” on A920, insert the password for logging in —> click username and click “CLOCK IN” to get into the Clock time page—> click “OK” for complete Clock in.

        (3). The Clock in report will record your time in the POS system —-> Back Office —> Reporting—> Clock-in. When you clock out: (step 6 to step 12)

        (4). Click username/login name to the office page and click “Clock in” to check the cock out time.

        (5). Insert tips you got and click “Clock OUT” —> “CLOSE” for completing clock out.

        (6). The report of Clock out will display in the POS system as well.

    c. Employees can clock in &out before login. The same as function 1, but you need to log in after you clock in.

        (1). Please make sure the “Employee can clock in &out from mobile devices” is checked in POS system—> Back Office —>Set up—> Mobile Devices.”

        (2). Click the “login” on A920, insert the password —> click “CLOCK IN” to get into the Clock time page—> click “OK” to complete Clock in.

        (3). You still need to log in after you clock in.

    d. Enable Togo orders. (The pos system will occur this Togo order as well)

        (1). Make sure you check the function on Mobile device —->Enable Togo orders.

        (2). There will appear the Togo types on the top of the menu. eg. Phone, TOGO, and other order types you created in the POS system.

        (3). Click the order types to open a ticket. And add the customer’s info or click the check button to go to the menu page.

        (4). Do the same steps when you make an order in general.

        (5). Check this ticket you need to go to the menu page or main table page first, then go to the office page to click the orders and check this to get tickets status. And click this order for edit/payment.

    e. Enable email receipts for mobile

    f. Allow theme changes for mobile user interface.

    g. Mobile virtual keyboards use QWERTY format.

    h. Enable advance features for experience users. Users can click the item’s right side for delete items and click the item’s left side for add items. 

    i. Enable Printing option. 

C. Caller ID displayed first for picking.


5. Print:

A. SKU printer (Zebra410) print label styles:

    a. Setting: You need to set a label printer name as “sku printer” or others name as “SKU”. SKU Pinter setting: horizontal, width (control size), barcode, price, and item group.

    b. Style 1:print all the items’ labels.

    c. Style 2:print the updated item recently.

    d. Style 3: only print a single item.

    e. Style 4:print out selected category items.

    f. Style 5:print out the item searched by the search bar.

D. Customer name displayed on the Togo orders.
