Bugs Fixed Notes:


I. POS System:

1. Order:

A. Kwick Togo with an updated ticket will change the ticket order type from Dinein to TOGO. We fixed it in this version.

B. When you have an online order with the convenience fee and do the partial pay, add the tip as a number (absolute value) but not the percentage (%). Then the added tip was calculated error. It affects the sales report account receivable does not match with the account settlement. (Ticket #50622)

C. Paid first “All” worked. And paid first all with service charge will not double the service charge in the total. 

D.The “Save” button doesn’t work. Fix it!

E. WalkIn orders’ names disappeared in the tickets shown in the orders. Fixed it!

F.  Online orders pay at the store with a surcharge. The total price will count twice the surcharge. Now we have fixed it, it only counts one of the surcharge fees.

G. Server selection:Server Selection->all& yes, not working. And it still assigns the order to the original login user. Now we fixed it, after you assigned the server, it will list the assigned server’s name on the top of the corner.(Ticket #52930)

H. When you add an item setting with a local modifier, increase the quantity number to multiple. Then when you add the special request with price, the item price will be dropped as a single price plus special request price with multiple quantity numbers.

Now we fix it, when you add a special request on the item with multiple quantity numbers, it will display separately in the cart with a single item price plus a special request price. (Ticket #49084)

I. Kwick discount: Enter 10:20:50, it will display a button in the middle of the order page with 10%Disc/20%Disc/50%Disc.You can enable multiple discounts (whatever you want, tested 10 discounts working fine) to apply on the item without reasons.

J. Edit entered happy hour items with discount, if you are using “+” to add its quantity, it will double discount this item. Now we fixed it. (Ticket #45209)


2. Print:

A. Star Printer TSP 143III:

B. Epson dot matrix printer with mark togo feature. Before the printout *****TOGO***** under the bottom of the kitchen receipt, only the marked togo order types will print out the *****TOGO*****.

C. Epson dot matrix printer with modifiers in new lines. Fixed it!

D. Employee reports printout. If you set up a kwick printer (any front printer), you can go to the Tools→New Backoffice—>Reporting—>Employees to print the reports in the front printer.

E. Employees print from a local printer. First, you need to add a new printer with “term” letter in the name, and with IP address: 127.0.0.1:9100/defaulta4. This printer should be a receipt printer with KwickPOS mode. Then connect the terminal IP you are using in the SetUp→Terminal→Setting page. When you click the New Back Office→Employees → Print will pop out a pre-review page allowing you to print as a local printer and save as PDF.


3. Payment: 

A. Tsys with Pax tip working on Open Tab tickets.

B. Auto batch with History Batch report. Once you batch a transaction, the amount and tip will be shown in the Batch report under New Back Office→Reporting —>Batch report. Whatever you did Auto batch or manually batch. 


4. Report:

A.The paid amount of paying by card in the Payments report was matched with the User report “card” + online KP tip.


5. Term:

A. Using Handheld takes an order display on KDS. We fixed:

1. Add a new item: if you add a new item on the cooked ticket, only the new item will not be checked.

2. Split tickets: if split the ticket with cooked items, KDS will not pop out the ticket.

3. Combine tickets: if combining tickets with cooked items, KDS will not pop out the ticket. If combining tickets with some uncooked item, only the uncooked item will not be checked.

4. Edit item: if you edit the cooked item with adding a special request or modifier. Only the edit item will be unchecked. 

B. A920 locks the server to login users. When you enable the server selection will not work for handheld devices to enter an order. 

C. Second display with enabled signature feature left surcharge fee after payment. When the customer chooses No tip in the second display the POS system will minus surcharge fee, which makes the ticket still open after paid. (Ticket # 50518)

D. Handhelds support both local and global modifiers for subitems and variations. Because of the above bug, it also affects the A920 take an order with special request, the special request will add to other items. We fix it as well. (Ticket #49847)

E. Using POS takes an order display on KDS. We fixed:

1. Add a new item: if you add a new item on the cooked ticket, only the new item will not be checked.

2. Split tickets: if split the ticket with cooked items, KDS will not pop out the ticket.

3. Combine tickets: if combining tickets with cooked items, KDS will not pop out the ticket. If combining tickets with some uncooked item, only the uncooked item will not be checked.

4. Edit item:

   a. if you edit the cooked item with adding a special request and modifier, only the edited item with the special request and modifier will be unchecked.

   b. Change modifier will only uncheck the edited item and the modifier.

   c. Add a special request on the cooked item, and will uncheck the edited item only.

5. Item transfer: if you do the item transfer, whenever the item is cooked or not, the item will not be checked in the new ticket. Need to manually check this item.



Features Release Notes:


I. POS System:

1. Payment:

A.Payments Return:

This feature just integrated the “Refund” and “Payout” functions enabled in the Tools.

It contains:

1. Return window in days, 0 or empty disable return

2. Return requires customer name.

3. Return requires a customer's phone.

4. Support cash refund

5. Support gift card/credit refund

6. Support credit card refund

7. Enable refund tool

8. Enable payout tool

B. Apple Pay for Online Orders. Card Connect Gateway only!!! Once you activate Online Order and Accept card payment for online order. Customers can pay by Apple Pay on their iPhone.

1. Allow the void/Print the payment in the Tools→Credit, Must required upgrade to at least (06/22)version. 


2. Print:

A. Print with original date and time: If you uncheck this function, all the kitchen receipts will print with real-time/updated time of the pi server.


3. Report: 

A. History Batch reports, export, print and check. You can check all the batch history in Tools→New back office→Reporting→Batch Report.

You can check the Transaction history and amount in the Month/Date summary. And the batched End time/ Username/DeviceIP information will be listed in the detail of the Date summary. 

B. Non-taxable sales and taxable sales in the sales report. Need to go to the New BackOffice→SetUp→Report Format→ Subtotal notax items.

The sales report will contain Non-taxable Sales/Taxable Sales/Tax with ticket counts and total sales amount. Especially, the Taxable sales contains the tickets amount is 0, and Tax doesn’t contain the tickets amount equal to 0.

C. Employee report with unpaid tips/paid tips/total tips & unpaid contains paid. Must disable Card tip paid function in Advanced→ System→General. Then when you go back to New BackOffice→Reporting→Employees in the third table will contain the new columns: Unpaid Tips and Paid Tips, Tips means the total amount of tips.

 

4. Retail:

A. Inventory:

Auto sync from menu import. It only worked on the category with different names in different menus. 

1. Added new columns in Excel files: Cost, Vendor, UPC, and Quantity. Extended a new page called “Vendors”.

2. Items and modifiers will auto-sync in inventory with ID, UPC, Product Name, Cost, Price, Quantity, Unit, and KPID. Vendor information will be updated on a separate page in New Backoffice—>Inventory—>Vendor. Vender name in the item page should be exactly the same as the vender name in the vender page.

3. Those values contain UPC, Price, Quantity of items, and modifiers will be updated in New Backoffice→Menu→Item information. Short name in the Item page is the UPC code col will be shown in the inventory.

Notes:

The first time importing an Excel file should be from Menu—>category—>Import. Make sure all the “KwickPOS-ID” value is empty in any pages.

Never use the inventory to export and import the files for now!!!

B. Inventory Optimize:

1. Tools→New Back Office→ Inventory → Products. Click the item you want to update, can edit the UPC/Qty/Category/Name/Cost/Unit/Price/Vendor and save.

2. Tools→New Back Office→ Inventory →Setting:

   a. Warning low inventory value: Don’t use it for now. Will design in future.

   b. Show low inventory value: Only display the quantity number you defined on the right top corner, over than the number will not be displayed.

   c. Alert low inventory value: Warning you the quantity is lower than the number you defined. The quantity number will be in red on the right top corner.

   d. Allow negative stock: Allow the negative quantity of items shown in the inventory/Menu/List. 

   e. Multisites inventory exchange: Don’t use it for now. Will design in future.

3. Tools→New Back Office→ Inventory →Vendor:

Display Vendor name/Contact/Phone/Email/Address/Web/Note. Cannot edit & Update. 

C. Receiving with Inventory:

1. Search the UPC code and the existing item’s name will list the item’s information in the receiving page.

2. Update the value of the cost and Quantity will be added to the value on the special items. For example, The item A cost $2.5 and quantity 10, when you enter the update amount of this item as cost 5 and quantity 20, the cost and quantity value will change to 7.5 and 30.

3. You cannot enter the cost value only in the Receiving, must contain the Quantity values. But you can enter only the quantity value.

D.The interface changed under “LIST”. Feature enabled under the “Tree menu mode for full-screen layout.” When you enable the Retail mode as Yes, click “LIST” and select the last layout mode, All the menus will display on the top of the screen in the system, and all the categories will list in the next level of the screen, and all the items will list in the last level of the screen.

E. Scanner max input time in milliseconds defaults to 100. It is under Tools→New Backoffice→Orders→MISC —> Scanner max input time in milliseconds(50-2000).

Note: Socket Mobile S700 scanner will be set as 150-300.


5. Portal & Tools:

A. Developed tools for checking SMS Status. You can use POS access→login POS system → Admin→ Tools→ SMS Status.

Once you enter the phone number you want to check, here will display the top 5 list for recently receiving messages from this phone number, which also contain the status, part of the information. The System will auto create a ticket in the log report and can check who did check the message status with the tokened phone number. 


6. Gift Card:

Gift card with the customer email and phone number. Need to go to the New Back Office→Apps→GIft Card

A.  Enable gift card holder name

B. Enable gift card holder phone

C.  Enable gift card holder email

1.  When you Sell gift card/Issue Store Credit under Tools → Gift Card, you need to touch or use Keyboard to enter the name/Phone number/email address. Those information will go into the Gift Report search by the card number for now.

2.  When you pay a ticket by gift card, clicking the gift card button will pop out a page allowing you to enter the gift card number or phone number to complete the payment by gift card. 


7. Loyalty Program

Loyalty with the customer email information and Loyalty card.

Must enable Reward On in the New Back Office→Apps→Loyalty →Points Based, and at least select one order type to enable the Loyalty.

Enable one of the methods to work the Loyalty by Phone/Card/Email, you need to go to the New Back Office→Apps→Loyalty →Reward with Email.

1. As long as the customer information contains Phone number/Email/Loyalty card in the New BackOffice→Customers, when the customer want to use or check his points, you can click the loyalty button on the payment page enter phone number/email/loyalty card to search the visits/redeemed/points on the loyalty Program page.

2. Only the Boss/Manager can edit the customer’s information in the New BackOffice→Customers

Note: If the ticket is already discounted, it will not allow you to redeem the loyalty points.
