Orders:
  • In the new version, a switch was added to allow merchants to control whether order details are displayed when adding items. Configure at Setup > Orders > Misc > Add Item Will Not Show Detail in Order.[Ticket #258253]
  • In the new version, a new setting allows the system to stay on the cart page after entering an order until Cancel is pressed to exit. Configure at: Setup → Order → Cart → Stay on cart after entering.
  • In the new version, a Private Note button has been added to the Payment page, allowing users to edit or add a private note for dine-in customers. Configure at: Setup → Order → Misc → Private Note on Payment Page. [Ticket #262798]
  • In the new version, a switch was added to allow merchants to select whether to display the last 4 or last 5 digits of the phone number. Configure at advanced > system > general > order info phone display. [Ticket #260605]
  • In the previous version, when an item with sub-items had “On Day” unchecked for the current day, the item could not be ordered even with a manager code. This issue has been fixed in the new version.[Ticket #261620]
  • In the new version, the KDS now displays the 3PP platform name (e.g., Doordash, Grubhub) for third-party platform orders. In Setup > Payments > Type Accepted, the payment type must have Order Type (3rd Party) checked.[Ticket #265219]
Print:
Printer > Modifier Group Functions [Ticket #260192]
  • When two kitchen printers were set up with Modifier Group selected, the previous version had an issue where if no modifiers were printed on the first kitchen printer, the remaining modifiers would not print on other printers; this issue has been fixed in the new version.
  • In the previous version, when Combine Option was set to Yes, identical modifiers were merged together at cart. If the printer was configured with Modifier Groups, the modifiers (e.g. 2 wings) would not print. This issue has also been fixed in the new version.
Report: 
  • In the previous version, when a bartender placed bar item orders, the User Report displayed Share-Out to Bartender based on bar sales; in the new version, the bartender’s User Report no longer displays share-out tips based on their own bar sales. [Ticket #264329]
Other:
  • In the new version, Return and Refund buttons have been combined into a single flow. Merchants can choose whether to process the return by swiping the card or refunding to the original payment method.
  • In the new version, a new Handheld Modern Interface was added for handheld devices (A920, Dejavoo), introducing an updated UI design. Configure at Setup > Mobile Devices > General Features > Handheld Modern Interface.
  • In the new version, on the kitchen display, modifiers containing the word “togo” will be highlighted in red. [Ticket #261590]
  • In the new version, when an item is deleted at the Cart page and the order is updated, a real-time SMS alert will be sent if Item Void Alert is enabled for the employee (Employee > User > Real time alerts).[Ticket #260556]

  • In the previous version, the New Backoffice > Menu > Items page was very slow because it loaded 500 items by default. In the new version, it loads only 100 items by default, significantly improving page load and item editing performance.
  • In the previous version, when Training Mode was enabled, users sometimes could not log in successfully, and orders did not appear on the Orders page. This issue has been fixed in the new version.
  • In the previous version, when adding a new item in Advanced Menu by highlighting an existing item and clicking“Add,” the room selections from the original item were not retained and became unchecked. This issue has been fixed in the new version.[Ticket #262088]
  • In the new version, a feature was added to support real-time driver trip tracking with an optimized map interface for better driver management. Configure at Setup > Order Types > > Delivery > Enable KwickTrack Delivery Map.
  • In the previous version, when configuring a modifier’s modifier by clicking the “Global modify” button, the linked modifier group selection became unselected. This issue has been fixed in the new version.[Ticket #264885]
  • In the new version, an Inventory Edit History Log has been added in Back Office at Inventory > Stock > History, allowing merchants to review inventory modification records. If the new inventory feature is not enabled, the history can be checked at Inventory > Stock > WRITE-OFFS. [Ticket #261491]
  • In the previous version, updating and adding an item on the A920 was incorrectly treated as a delete action, which cleared the entire order. This issue has been fixed in the new version.[Ticket #262768]
  • In the new version, we add a switch at Apps > Clock-in > Show Day NetHours Summary to display daily net hours for each date on the clock-in report.

Online:

Payment:
For the Authorize.Net gateway, if Card Code is set as required, customers checking out on kwickmenu.com will be prompted with an alert saying “Card Code Required” if the CVV is not entered.
KwickMenu.com:
  • A new amount limit control has been added for online orders. If the order total exceeds the configured limit and the customer selects “Pay at Store”, the system will prompt an alert. Configure at: Apps > Online > Pay at Store Limit. [Ticket #244179]
  • For delivery orders, the “Pay at Store” button has been renamed to “By Cash” on online checkout. [Ticket #262379]
  • In the new version, an option has been added to offer a percentage or fixed discount for new customers on their first order. If a coupon code discount also applies, the system will automatically apply the latest discount between the two. Configure at Apps > Online Order > Online Order Setting > New Customer Auto Discount. Additionally, the discount breakdown in the Sales Report and Discount Report will now display this discount reason. [Ticket #260020]
