 Orders:

  • In the previous version, in Restaurant Mode (Advanced > System > General > Retail set to No), if an item was not displayed on the home menu (due to the Retail Max Items setting), scanning its barcode would not add it to the cart. This issue has been fixed in the new version. To enable this behavior, go to Setup > Order > Misc > Restaurant Mode: Allow Scanning Items Not Shown on Home Menu. [Ticket #283964]
  • In the new version, Combine Pay will display all server names on the order preview.
    • In the previous version, when using Combine Pay with a second display, only one of the orders would be paid and closed after payment. This issue has been fixed in the new version.
    Cart Fixes in New Version:
    • When Seat Mode 3 is enabled, adding an item with modifiers to the whole table and then using the Note tool to add a special request would cause the item to move to the last seat; this issue has been fixed.
    • When adding a note to a subitem with modifiers, the item could sometimes duplicate itself; this issue has also been fixed.

    Print:

    • In the previous version, when Backoffice > Orders > Misc > Print Happy Hour Discount on Receipt was enabled, the Happy Hour discount was printed on the kitchen receipt, which is unnecessary. In the new version, Happy Hour discounts will not be printed on kitchen receipts.    
    • In the new version, we added a feature that allows the Void CC Receipt to display not only the Order ID, but also the order-created date[Ticket #285489]
    • In the new version, when Cash Discount is enabled, merchants can customize the cash price name and card price name under Orders > Misc > Print Cash Discount (select any option other than “Print Nothing”). Please note that these custom names will only apply to the printed receipt. 
    • In the previous version, when updating a modifier name in the New Back Office, if the modifier was checked for a kitchen printer, it would be automatically unchecked after saving the update. This issue has been fixed in the new version.

    Payment: 

    • In the new version, On-Book payments support partial payments. For example, if an order is paid with $5 cash and $5 on-book, the On-Book Report will display only the remaining balance instead of the full order amount. [Ticket #293050]

    Report: 

    • In the new version, the user can easily see which tax applies to which items in Setup > Taxes & Fees, located above each tax rate. When clicked, it will display all items where the respective tax is applied and will allow the user to export a CSV file. [Ticket #286208]
    • In the new version, we added an unpaid orders breakdown to the sales report. It displays up to 20 unpaid tickets, including the date, order number, and amount. [Ticket #291869] 
    • In the new version, we added an option to allow waiters to view their own tip pool in the User Report by enabling Setup > Report Format > Waiter can view their own tip pool
    • In the new version, tip distribution can now be set to either equal share or proportional to recorded work time. Time-based distribution requires complete clock-in/clock-out records to calculate duration. This feature is limited to Group Share scenarios only.
    • In the previous version, in Monthly Sales Report, when using the Print function to save as a PDF, the report would be cut off if the content exceeded one page (e.g., a full month). This issue has been fixed in the new version.
    • In the new version, Sales Report supports filtering by weekday and time range, so users can view sales for selected days, such as every Monday in March, or selected hours, such as lunch time, without checking each day manually. The applied filter will also be printed on the report. [Ticket #279938] [Ticket #277637] 

    Other:
    • In the new version, a terminal layout style can be applied to all other terminals via Tools > Layout > Sync to All. [Ticket #271592]
    • In the old version, if the terminal was in walk-in mode, the user could use the gift tool without being logged in. Now, it is required to log in before using the gift tool. [Ticket #293069]
    • In the new version, we fixed an issue where the “Approved By” field in gift reports could display an incorrect user when chain gift cards were used across locations.
    In the new version, we've added a new feature to the Salon Check-In page via New Back Office > Apps > Salon Setting > Reservation > Ask Birthday on Check-in. Once this feature is enabled:
    1. New customers will be asked for their birthday after check-in. 
    2. Existing customers without a birthday on file will also be asked for their birthday.
    3. Customers who have a birthday on file will not be asked again.
    4. If loyalty is enabled, the loyalty birthday will also be updated accordingly.  
    • In the previous version, employees other than Owner, Manager, and Cashier were unable to successfully sell multiple gift cards at once, even when the gift permission was enabled. This bug has been fixed. [Ticket #291725] 
    • In the previous version, the on day and on time features did not work for the tablet ordering menu. This has been fixed.  [Ticket #251203]
    • In the new version, when a store is using Chain Gift Card, the system will display the Chain Gift Card name on both the Sell Gift Card page and the Use Gift Card page
    • In the new version, the Inventory Stock Adjustment feature has been added to both the Tools shortcut and Advanced > Inventory > Stock Adjustment (Enable Inventory > Settings > Stock Adjustment), and users can adjust item stock, select reasons such as Transfer, Waste, Shrinkage, Sample, Damage, or Other, and review adjustment history in reports. Detailed instructions are shown at the top of the Stock Adjustment page.
    • In the new version, a delete button has been added for each item in the Kiosk cart, allowing customers to remove items regardless of the quantity directly from the cart review page. 
    • In the new version, we added a feature that allows users to increase or decrease item, sub-item, and all modifier prices by a percentage via Back Office > Menu > Category > Price Adjust. This tool is available to Kwickpos Support only
    • In the previous version, the Waiting/Reservation Tool displayed the latest reservation time instead of the current date and time. This issue has been fixed in the new version. [Ticket #292863]

    Other:

    • The Clone function has been split into two options: Sanitized Clone and Full Clone. The Sanitized Clone copies data while clearing sensitive information such as gateway and Magtek settings. Full Clone copies all data.
