Orders:
  • In the new version, the search bar in Restaurant Mode has been enhanced to work as a pop-up window. When searching, matching items will display in a dropdown list. Configure at Setup > Orders > Cart > Pop Search.
  • In the previous version, on touch-screen devices, when entering a special request using the virtual keyboard, the text cursor could randomly jump to the beginning of the text box. This issue has been fixed in the new version.
  • In the new version, the Sold Out tool has been extended to support modifiers, similar to the existing functionality for items. [Ticket #300581]
  • In the old version, when the terminal's Second language, Seat and Line settings were enabled, the Seat + and Seat - buttons always displayed in Chinese, regardless of which second language was selected. This bug has been fixed in the new version.[Ticket #264003]

Payment: 

On-Book Enhancements:
  1. When Cent Adjustment is enabled, On-Book payments will use the original amount before cent adjustment.
  2. If surcharge is applied, On-Book payments with cash and check will not charge surcharge fee in the new version.
  3. OnBook report email invoice will include the total with surcharge if the order was paid with surcharge.
  4. Other Payment” now supports customized payment types and allows users to choose whether to apply the surcharge.

Report: 

  • The Item Sales Report now includes an hourly time-range filter, making it easy to analyze item sales performance during specific hours of the day (e.g., lunch or dinner rush).

Other:

  • In the new version, we have added the feature to change the background color of KDS tickets based on the order type. This setting can be found in Backoffice > Setup > Orders > KDS > KDS Order Type Colors.
  • In the old version, scheduled happy hour discounts could not be applied on delivery orders. This has been fixed. [Ticket #299381]
  • In the new version,  customers are able to see others' wait times on the waiting list, they can see how long others have been waiting and decide to wait or not. [Ticket #304351]
  • In the old version, the KDS sound setting could not be saved after editing. This bug has been fixed in the new version.
  • In the new version, when printing Batch tracking report,  it will also have the total cost for each item.

Online:

Payment:

  • In the old version, when online ordering had two time periods in one day, customers could still complete payment after the first time period ended if they checked out before the cutoff time. For example, if checkout was started before 3 PM but payment was made after 3 PM, the order could still go through. This bug has been fixed in the new version.
KwickMenu.com:
  • In the previous version, when an item had a day-of-week(on day) or time-of-day(on time) availability window, the menu displayed items based on the current device time instead of the customer’s scheduled pickup or delivery time. As a result, items that should have been available for the scheduled order time could not be ordered. This issue has been fixed in the new version. Items are now displayed based on the scheduled order time. [Ticket #250108]
  • In the new version, QR Table ordering has been improved. Customers at the same table can now place orders at the same time, and all items will sync in real time so everyone can see the shared order updates.[Ticket #297357]
  • In the old version, online ordering calculated tax correctly for non-taxable items before applying a discount. However, after a discount code was applied, the system incorrectly added tax to the whole order. This bug has been fixed in the new version.[Ticket #299744]
Other:
  • Online Order Hub rework. A revamped UI/UX brings a cleaner, more modern experience, making it easier to manage your online order settings, monitor incoming orders, and quickly take action on any that fail.
  • In the previous version, for QR Table Orders with a maximum item limit set (e.g., 10 items per order), when the limit was reached and an alert was displayed, the screen would freeze afterward. This issue has been fixed in the new version.
Marketing Tool Bug Fixes:
  • In the previous version, the available customer count in SMS Text Campaigns displayed an incorrect number; this issue has been fixed.

  • In the previous version, under History Campaign, campaign start and end dates were displayed incorrectly for campaigns created in the old Marketing Tool version. This issue has been fixed.

  • In the new version, we added a custom payment amount, old ticket/deferred pay, clock in users(only works for new clock in), category by sales to the KwickView snapshot page.
