 Orders:
  • In the new version, a new feature was added to allow Open Tab orders to be split. Configure at Setup > Payment > Credit Setting > Open Tab > Allow Split for Open Tab Order.
  • In the new version, a new feature was added to allow Manual Shift End Close to complete without performing cash count. When enabled, the system will skip the cash count process and directly complete End Close without printing. Configure at Setup > Order > Misc > Easy End Close.
  • In the new version, a feature was added for Manual Shift when "Keep Unpaid" is set to Yes. When performing End Close and the open order ID changes, the system will now also record the original order date.[Ticket #260218]
  • In the previous version, when updating a pickup order without a ready time twice, the system would automatically add a ready time after the second update. In addition, once a ready time was set, it could not be deleted. These issues have been fixed in the new version.
  • In the previous version, when voiding an item with a single quote in the item name, the Sales Report / Day Report would not display the remaining void note after the quote. This issue has been fixed in the new version, and historical void notes will now display correctly as well. [Ticket #268701]
  • In the new version, an issue has been fixed where orders could fail to create after a split if the customer name contained a single quote. [Ticket #268280]
  • In the new version, walk-in orders can be configured to require customer names. Configure at: Setup > Order Types > WALKIN > Require Customer Name on Order Entry.
  • In the new version, a new switch has been added for retail businesses to configure the default view displayed on the homepage. Configure at: Advanced > System > General > Retail Mode Default Page. The default is Search View. Also, the loading speed of the List View has been significantly improved, especially for stores with a large number of items and inventory records. [Ticket #269545]

     Print:

    • In the previous version, when Edge Mode was enabled and GTip Surcharge was set to Yes, the tip amount shown in the order preview was different from the amount printed on the ticket. This issue has been fixed in the new version. [Ticket #266793]
    • In the previous version, when using the Price Tool to modify an item price to a lower price, the bag printer printed the item with the original price instead of the updated price. This issue has been fixed in the new version.
    • In the previous version, if Item Group in Advanced was set to No, even though Item Group in Printer was set to Yes, the system would not group items on the customer receipt when the printer was set to Native Yes mode. This issue has been fixed in the new version.[Ticket #267423]
    Payment:
    • In the new version, a switch was added on the Credit page to allow merchants to display customer names. Configure at Setup > Payment > Credit Setting > Credit Page Show Customer Name.
    • In the previous version, when an order contained EBT items, it could not be checked out using Check Payment or a Customized Payment. This issue has been fixed in the new version. [Ticket #266348]

    Report:

    • Modified the New Backoffice > Report > Item Sales Report. Now the item sales report will include a list of modifiers sold for each individual item. [Ticket #141696]
    • In the new version, Export and Print functions have been added to BackOffice > Reporting > Void Report and Discount Report. [Ticket #266308]
    • In the previous version, if the merchant was using the open tab with Magtek TSYS processor, the batch report amount could be incorrect. This bug has been fixed.

        Other:

          • In the new version, it is now allowed to modify the clock-in time in the Clock-In Report without entering the clock-out time.[Ticket #265758]
          • In the previous version, when deleting an item picture in the new Backoffice, the picture would reappear after returning to Home and entering Backoffice again. This issue has been fixed in the new version.
          • In the new version, we added a switch to hide the quick price buttons at the special request page. Configure at Setup -> Orders > MISC > hide quick price.
          • In the new version, the Order ID display on the KDS has been enlarged for better visibility. [Ticket #265758]
          • In the new version, KDS supports displaying both the customer name and server name on the order header. Configure at Setup > Order > KDS > KDS Show Customer Name on Header.
          • In the previous version, deleting a modifier in the New BackOffice did not work; this has been fixed in the new version. Additionally, a deleting/adding log for modifiers has been added (database record only, not displayed on the page).
          • In the new version, a Camera button has been added in Tools > Gift Card next to the gift card number input field, allowing users to take a picture of the gift card. The POS will automatically detect and enter the gift card number using barcode scanning or OCR. The Camera icon is only displayed on devices with a camera, such as an iPad.
          • In the old version, on the kiosk Table Locator, letters and numbers were cut off on smaller screens (like a normal computer), making them unclickable. In the new version, if the window height is less than 1080, the Table Locator window will automatically pop from the bottom, making it easier to select table locators.
          • In the previous version, items that were previously marked as sold out but later unselected to display on the POS (local menu) were still counted as sold out when using the Sold Out tool. This issue has been fixed in the new version. [Ticket #265246]
          • In the previous version, adding a payout description containing single or double quotes would cause the update of that history record to fail the next time a payout was made (though the new payout would still be added successfully). This issue has been fixed in the new version. [Ticket #264427]
            • In the new version, when the new loyalty system is enabled, a Loyalty button will appear, allowing you to check customers’ loyalty points. [Ticket #265001]

            Online:

            Payment:

            • In the new version, Online eGift Sales now supports Apple Pay and Google Pay when using Authorize.Ner and CardConnect as the payment gateway.
              KwickMenu.com:
              • Online failed order receipts sent to the merchant will now include the store address, allowing the merchant to identify which location received the failed orders. [Ticket #266263]

              Other:

              • For Chain Gift Cards, the chain name was previously case-sensitive. Now the rule was changed, new chains are automatically converted to lowercase, and the Portal now displays the chain name correctly instead of converting it to all uppercase.
