Release Notes (04/15/2026)

Orders:

•  In the old version, if the setting for “Stay on cart after enter” and “Seat & Line” were enabled, after an order had been placed, the cart would freeze. This has been fixed.

Print:

• In the new version, when both Show M Price and Print with Box are enabled, a new feature has been added to display the modifier price separately on the right. Configure at: Setup > Orders > Cart > Print Mod Price Separately.

• In the old version, when the order tax amount was 0, the Tax2 print line would still be printed even when Tax2 print was not enabled. This issue only happened when the printer was in New Mode. This has been fixed in the new version.

• In the new version, a new feature has been added to allow iPad terminals to switch receipt printers, instead of being fixed to the station printer. This helps reduce crowding. Configure at: Setup > Orders > Misc > Allow iPad to Switch Nearest Term Printer.

• In the new version, we added a new feature: Advanced > System > Print After Driver Change. On the Payment page, if the current order is a Delivery Order, the Customer Receipt will be printed automatically after a Driver Change. [Ticket #279827]

Payment:

• In the new version, Magtek HID solution also supports tDynamo. 

Report: 

• In the new version, a new feature has been added to provide a Future Order Report for viewing upcoming orders if you set up a ready time in the future and you can check it under tools. Configure at: Setup > Orders > Misc > Future Order Report.

• In the new version, a new feature has been added to show who sold the gift card and the payment method in the Chain Gift Card Sell Log Report, similar to the Gift Report.  [Ticket #283068]

• In the new version, a new feature has been added to support independent KDS bump by terminal. When the same ticket appears on multiple KDS screens, bumping it on one screen will not affect the others. Configure at: Setup > Orders > KDS > Independent KDS Bump.

• In the new version, we added a card view for user permissions. To enable it, go to Backoffice > Employees > Permissions > Card View. In this card view, in addition to all the functionality available in the list view, we have also introduced a new feature that allows you to compare permissions.

1. When the e-gift card portal is enabled and this setting is set to Allow, customers can check their balance and purchase gift cards.
2. When the e-gift card portal is enabled but this setting is set to Disallow, customers can only check their balance.

1. If both start time and end time are set, only orders within this time range will be included in the tip share-out.
2. If only the start time is set, the range will be from the start time to the extended hour.
3. If only the end time is set, the range will be from the previous extended hour to the end time.

• In the new version, if an entire category is unselected for a kitchen display, any new items added to that category will be unchecked by default for that display. [Ticket #283891]

1. If a name is entered manually when selling the gift card, that name will be displayed.
2. If no name is entered manually and the payment is made by card, the name retrieved from the credit card will be displayed.

• Items can now be configured to determine whether they are eligible to earn loyalty points under an earn rule.

• For Tier programs, it is now possible to configure the number of bonus points awarded when a customer upgrades to a higher tier.

• In the previous version, if an item was not selected in the printer settings, newly added subitems would still be selected by default. In the new version, subitems will follow the parent item setting—if the item is not selected, subitems will also be unselected by default. [Ticket #277623]

In the new version, a Picture Mode has been added for capturing category and item images directly from your phone or tablet. The mode offers several built-in options, and AI will automatically optimize and upload the image. Configure at: 

• Backoffice > Menu > [Item] > Magic Photo 

• Home > Menu Item > [Item Name] (Description Page) > Magic Photo (requires enabling Setup > Orders > Menu > Show Item Description When Clicking on Item Name) 

• Directly via /picmode.php

Online:

• In Backoffice > Apps > Online Order > Online Website Setting, you can now disabled e-gift cards from being purchased online, while still allowing customers to check their gift card balance.

Other:  

• In the new version, when a merchant uses the TRX gateway, customers can pay their tickets by scanning a QR code on the kiosk, manually entering card details, or using Apple Pay or Google Pay.
