POS:

Orders:

  • In the previous version, when searching a customer by name, the Duplicate History button was grayed out even if the customer had order history; this has been fixed in the new version. [Ticket #257287]

  • In the new version, items with modifiers can now be re-edited directly from the kiosk cart.

    Print:
    • In the old version, when Cash Discount was enabled, choosing the “Cash Price + Saved Amount” print setting in Setup > Orders > Misc would cause the Saved amount of unpaid customer receipt to display incorrect values(Print “0”). In the new version, this issue has been fixed.[Ticket #257221]
    • In the old version, when the kitchen printer was set to Advanced Mode and Combo Second Language (Combo 2nd Lang) was enabled, the second language for the order type (e.g., Dine In) was not printed. In the new version, this issue has been fixed.[Ticket #257164]

    • In the previous version, when Dine-in Send = No but All Send = Yes, customer receipts were not printed when entered a dine-in order ; in the new version, All Send no longer affects the Dine-in Send setting. [Ticket #131773]

    Payment:
    • In the old version, cash discounts were incorrectly applied to kiosk card payments; this has been fixed in the new version.
    • In the old version, when term_cc ip was empty and the store used tips based on subtotal or enabled tipping before discount, the credit page card tip rate would change if you click on other transactions. In the new version, this issue has been fixed.[Ticket #257209]

    Report:

    • Month Sales Report fixes:
    1. Previously, when Report Merge 3PP Data was set to No and there were no 3PP orders with ticket discounts, 3PP sales were not shown in separate columns; fixed in the new version.
    2. Previously, when Report Merge 3PP Data was set to No, liquor sales did not subtract 3PP sales; fixed in the new version.
      • In the new version, a new setting was added to combine liquor and food columns in the Month Sales Report: Setup > Report Format > Show Food Sales only in Month Sales Report (effective only when Tax2 is enabled). [Ticket #257319]
      • In the new version, a setting was added to control whether to show device details in the Batch Report. When disabled (default), device details will be hidden. Configure at Order > Misc > Show Batch Report.
      Other:
      • In the new version, a Copy from Technician button was added to the Technician page, allowing users to copy services from another technician and apply them to the current technician.
      • In the new version, a search bar was added to the “Choose Modifier section” in the new Back Office > Menu > Items > Update Item, allowing users to quickly search and select modifier groups.
      • In the new version, larger font options were added to the Kitchen Display and Packer screens, including three larger font sizes and a new 2-row × 3-column layout. This allows item names to be displayed more clearly, while order type, table number, and other information remain unchanged.
      • In the new version, the POS can now be configured to show the Login screen as the default screen, allowing users to log in immediately when the system starts. Configure at: setup > terminal > Stay on the Pin Pad page when no user is logged in.[Ticket #218124]
      Online:
      KwickMenu.com:
      • In the previous version, online orders always displayed the Tax1 rate even when Tax2 was applied; in the new release, if Tax2 items are present in the cart, the tax rate will no longer be displayed
          Other:
          • Previously, on the Portal > Edit Merchant page, updating agent info or other editable fields for an active site would incorrectly change the business status from Active to Initial; this issue has been fixed.
          • Items expiring before scheduled order time are now blocked from being added to the cart.
              • In the old version, unavailable items could be added to the cart when duplicating orders from Order History. In the new version, this issue has been fixed and only items available on current menu can be added. [Ticket #239598]
              • In the old version, items that were already in the cart could still be ordered even if they were not available on the current day. In the new version, item availability is now validated at checkout, preventing unavailable items from being ordered on both the new and old Online ordering systems.[Ticket #255975]

              • Previously, all text campaigns were charged as 1 message regardless of length; now billing follows standard SMS rules:
              1. It starts at 17 characters:

              •  Every message includes 'txtSTOPtoEnd' (13 chars) plus line     breaks (4 chars) for opt-out compliance.

                   2. Standard text (letters, numbers, basic symbols):

              • Up to 160 characters = 1 message.
              • Longer messages: 153 chars per segment.

                   3. Emojis or special characters (😀, 中文, etc.):

              • Up to 70 characters = 1 message.
              •  Longer messages: 67 chars per segment.

                     4. Tip: A single emoji can double your cost because it                   switches the entire message to Unicode encoding.
